I have used my various professional roles and community activism to tackle the issue of acceptance and equity as a social justice issue. I am married to Raton Remikie, Sr. and we have six children and four grandchildren.
As the author of “Kamryn’s GLO Rock Adventures” book series, my mission is to help kids grow into kind, compassionate people. Inspired by lessons taught and exhibited by my mother, Glorishia Jones, this venture is the legacy I created for my granddaughter, Kamryn. It serves as a testament to the work I have contributed to in the plight of achieving empathy as a core connector. I am writing this series of books to show children that our differences are what makes us extraordinary.
